Our Story

“When we least expect it, that's when the magic happens. It all started on a beautiful January evening as people were wishing each other a happy new year we met over coffee, and the evening turned into a dinner and an hour-long walk where we shared our stories, fears and dreams. As both of us drove back, we had a smile on our face and a comfort in our mind. From then on it was challenging each other in races and cook-offs. From sharing dreams and responsibilities to teaching and learning about each other. Held together in prayers, we look forward to a beautiful life.”

The Bride

Dr. Elizabeth Cherian

Daughter of Mrs. Christalin Cherian and Mr. Cherian Jacob. She attended Cochin Refineries School, graduated with a bachelor's degree from Assumption College in Changanacherry, a master's degree from Stella Maris College in Chennai, and a doctorate in literature from the English and Foreign Languages University in Hyderabad. She is currently employed at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology as an Assistant Professor. She grew up in Ernakulam, and her family and friends remember her as the kind, clumsy girl.

The Groom

Freddy Mathew

The son of Mrs. Elizabeth Cyriac and Col. KM Mathew (Retd.), he attended school across the country. He graduated from Delhi University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and received his dual MBA from UCAM, Spain, and ISBAT University, Kampala. He is presently employed at InfoPark Kochi as a project manager. Beautifully, after meeting him, people start to wonder if they are really extroverts.
